The RTG shot Gizzi for Autumn issue of Eat Me, Down at Hoxton Street Studios (cheers Mr Mullins and Fatima).
Gizzi was awesome to work with and admittedly a little hungover.....but i swear down you couldn't tell, not even the faintest whiff of sauce on her breath or Glazzy eye....I might want to try that some time.
Looking forward to working with the Eat Me crew again soon...
A little something Tone and I shot the other day with a kid called Jack. A little ramshackled preparation. Turned out nicely in the end. Thanks for the threads Alf. A big, massive shout out to the beautiful Remi Nicole who really out did herself with the styling, hair and art direction.xx
A little while back my good friend Jack and I embarked on a journey to the Gold Coast of Africa in search of coffins for a show Jacks putting together in December at his gallery.
No compass in hand, we kissed our women goodbye and headed for Ghana. Along the way we went surfing at Three Point, met the coffin makers of Teshie, the Fisherman of Dixcove, the boxers of Jamestown and the horse riding gymnast's of Labadi Beach. The coffins were mind blowing, finished to celebrate the legacy of the withheld and finished with the most intricate detail.
Although driving eight hours at night on a Ghanian highway with a simple, half blind driver still gives me nightmares it was an incredible trip. Beautiful scenery, amazingly warm hearted people and the home of Fu Fu, Ghana sure as fuck is the pearl of West Africa's crown!
Check the pictures (some of them will be on show at the exhibit) and come check out the show on the 9th of December at
